General Description:

ISI was contacted by the General Contractor after being referenced by the pre-engineered building supplier and insulated panel manufacturer.  The contractor wasn't familiar with pre-eng building systems or insulated panel assemblies and hired ISI to oversee the design and provide design drawings.  ISI also managed the erection of the pre-engineered structure and installation of the insulated panel assembly.   

Design Highlights:

• This 51,000 S/F facility is a warehousing hub for GE Logistics. 
  
• The Main Frame was a 2-span, Gable design with an independent Conventional Office structure located at the South end. 
•  The roofing assembly is a 5" thick, standing seam insulated panel which met the SB-10 thermal requirements.
• The wall assembly is a 4" insulated panel which integrates with the masonry cavity wall assembly with brick veneer and glass block assembly. 
• By working together with the General Contractor and the consultants, ISI was able to provide a building that was not only functional but aesthetically pleasing.
